Frequently Asked Questions

Touch and hold the button for 10-15 seconds. The button will start flashing when it has entered pairing mode.

Unfortunately, no. The smart switch is only compatible with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. This is because 5GHz Wi-Fi networks have a shorter range and are not as well-penetrated by walls and other obstacles. As a result, 5GHz Wi-Fi networks are not ideal for devices that need to be controlled remotely.

When the communication signals between a smart device and a gateway are weak, the smart switch may go offline. If one wall is between a smart switch and a gateway, ensure that the distance between them is within 5 m. If there are multiple walls, we recommend that you add gateways or shorten the distance.

Signal strength can be measured in a variety of ways, the most common of which are decibel milliwatts (dBm) and Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI). Since many manufacturers convert RSSI to dBm anyway, we’ll focus our attention there.
The most important thing to understand about dBm is that it is displayed in negative values, so there will always be a minus sign in front. The scale runs from -30 (a perfect connection) to -90 (unable to connect at all).

This typically means your smart switch has lost its Wi-Fi connection. This can happen if the Wi-Fi signal is weak (e.g., switch is too far from the router, or there are many devices on your network), or if your router is experiencing a temporary issue.
What to do:
1. Restart your router: Turn off your Wi-Fi modem/router for 10-20 seconds, then turn it back on.
2. Improve signal: Try moving your router closer to the switch, or consider a Wi-Fi extender.
3. Check network: Ensure your switch is connected to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band if your router has both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
Update firmware: Check your device app for any available firmware updates for the switch.
The issue is typically related to your internet connection or home network, rather than the switch itself.

Sure, here are the steps:

As it takes only a tiny amount of voltage increase to damage most of today's sensitive electronics. We recommend to install Surge Protectors. As not only your smart devices need protection but also your tv, appliances, phones, laptops, desktops etc... need to be protected.

Some of the possible causes are:
Lost of Connection | Power Outage | Voltage Overload
